Using the board is pretty simple once your familiar with the different areas. The main page is the "Home" page and has the different Category listings. (example: This Category is the "Board Information Area" (No-one is able to post on the home page in the Category area)
Each Category has a list of what Topics (also known as "Threads") are covered or discussed in them. Once you click onto a topic area you are brought here into the thread board. This is the area where each topic is actually posted, and where you can either reply to a thread that already exist or start a new one of your own.
Replying to a thread that already exist can be done by clicking on the word "reply" in the bottom right hand corner of that last post of the thread, and it will open a window where you can type in your comments.
To start a new thread of your own you would decide which Category you wanted it listed under then go into the thread area for that. On the top right hand side it says "new thread" click on that and it opens a window simuliar to the one you have if you post a reply using the "reply" button.
Once the new thread window is opened you just add the Topic (subject) of your thread and then type in your message. You'll also have the options of adding "Message Icons" (little pics beside your thread topic), "Tags" (these are used to change text colors or styles, add "quotes" and various other things)
Tags can also be used when adding pics to a message, but you'll need to have them uploaded or "hosted" on an online photo album and know the URL (web address) to be able to link them across to the board here. The Smilies can be added directly to your thread by clicking on them in the area you'd like them placed.
(example if you want this click on it. You won't see the smilie until your thread is posted, instead you'll see : ) which is the code for it. Once you finish typing out your message scroll down to the "Post Message" button click it and your done. Your thread will then be added into the board for everyone to see. Basically everything that is on the board here is managed that way.
Adding your own personal pictures will need a little more work. Like I mentioned above you will need an online photo album (I use Photobucket) then it's just a matter of transfering the URL over to this board. You can do this 2 ways also. But the easiest way is by copying & pasting the [ IMG ] URL link from your photo album to the thread your posting in or on.
(This will act simuliar to adding a smilie, you won't see your picture until your thread or reply is posted instead you'll have [ IMG ] your picture URL here [ /IMG ].
Also, this is a collapsable board, so once you have read the new post you can choose to mark them as read, or you can exit that specific area and collapse it by clicking on the CATEGORY title. (ex: the category title of this area is "HOW TO NAVIGATE & USE THE BOARDS") Then you can re-open the area by clicking on it once more. The "INFO CENTER" area is also collapsable.
As time goes on, I will be adding new items to the board and the way it looks & works may also change, as various options may or may not be added. In this case I will post an update message to make everyone aware of the changes.
If you have any other questions, or if you need help with anything, please feel free to leave a post here and I will assist you asap.
